Junior School Trips

  • In 2011 the inaugural Junior school program to Nepal began.

  • The annual trek is offered to year 6 boys and a single parent.

  • It has become a highlight of students final year at the Junior School.

  • Shared experiences with a parent and friends in environments different to home encourage reflection and problem solving.

  • Trek participants experience the realities of rural living, education and healthcare and see how their fundraising benefit the local community.

  • Lived experiences align with the International Baccalaureate Program (PYP) principles of global mindedness offered at Cranbrook Junior School.
